M.Arch student Ho and Alumnus Liow recognized in AIA Atlanta’s and YAF’s 10Up competition for their project Signal Box
Signal Box, a project created by M.Arch student Nicholas Ho and Architecture alumnus William Liow, was announced as runner-up in the 2012 10Up competition, co-hosted by AIA Atlanta and Young Architecture Forum of Atlanta. The challenge of this year’s 10Up competition was to create a temporary installation on the Atlanta Beltline. The Signal Box project responds to the absence of the railway along Atlanta’s Beltline, a mnemonic tower that recalls an important economic thoroughfare of an earlier time.
