‘Michigan Modern: Design that Shaped America’ by Ponce de Leon and Saldaña opens tomorrow at Cranbrook Art Museum

Dean Monica Ponce de Leon and husband Gregory Saldaña have co-curated, “Michigan Modern: Design that Shaped America.” The exhibition features well-known innovators like Eliel and Eero Saarinen, Florence Knoll and Henry Ford as well as less-known figures such as textile designer Marianne Strengell and architect William Muschenheim.

The exhibition opens June 14 at the Cranbrook Art Museum in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and will run through October 13th.
