Tsz Yan Ng, Lecturer in Architecture, and Clark Thenhaus, 2013/2014 Willard A. Oberdick Fellow, have been selected as MacDowell Art Fellows by the MacDowell Art Colony in New Hampshire.
Ng’s residency will be used to reflect and expand upon her current research on textile manufacturing and processes of making between allied practices of architecture and clothing production.
Thenhaus was selected based on his work as the 2013/2014 Oberdick Fellow. Thenhaus will use the MacDowell Art fellowship to extend the work of his Taubman College fellowship through the production of a comprehensive book that expands and articulates his research.
MacDowell Fellows are selected by an admissions panel comprised of a revolving group of distinguished professionals in the artistic disciplines of architecture, music, filmmaking, interdisiplinary arts, theatre arts, visual arts, and writing.
