Fellenbaum earns ASLA Excellence Award
Reid Fellenbaum awarded ASLA Award of Excellence
Reid Fellenbaum (M.Arch.’14), and American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) student affiliate, was awarded the 2014 American Society of Landscape Architects’ Award of Excellence in Analysis and Planning. Fellenbaum’s winning thesis project, Meridian of Fertility, under faculty advisor Rania Ghosn, impressed the ASLA with its focus on the productive potential of the Great Plains region while challenging the Jeffersonian grid. Meridian of Fertility argues that the landscape of the future will be reorganized by climate prediction, microtopography, and soil typologies. More information on Fellenbaum’s prestigious achievement can be found on the ASLA website.
