MAde Studio participates in University of Buffalo symposium and exhibition
MAde Studio, composed of Assistant Professors Jen Maigret and Maria Arquero de Alarcón, took part in University of Buffalo’s “Approaching the EDGE: Reconsidering the Littoral Great Lakes” on November 5th. The symposium and exhibition’s aim was to gather researchers involved in the Littoral zone of the Great Lakes Basin together to find meaningful ways to engage in the area’s design, something the institution considers a major project facing the country.
MAde Studio’s symposium and complementary exhibition, “Unfolded Lakeshore”, served as a vital component of the proceedings, and the pair’s ongoing research touched on issues ranging from unregulated development to climate change of the world’s largest freshwater resources. More information about the event can be found on Buffalo’s School of Architecture and Planning website.
