Merlin selected as STRIDE Center’s Student of the Year
Urban Planning Postdoctoral Fellow Louis Merlin was chosen as the Southeastern Transportation Research, Innovation, Development and Education Center’s Student of the Year for 2014, to be presented at the 24th Annual Outstanding Student of the Year Awards ceremony. The STRIDE award goes to University Transportation Research Center students selected for accomplishments and contributions to the transportation field.
The event, scheduled to take place as part of the Council of University Transportation Centers annual banquet on January 10th, 2015, occurs during the Transportation Research Board’s 94th Annual Meeting in Washington D.C. Merlin’s well-earned honor comes with a $1000 scholarship, along with free conference attendance and lodging expenses.
