Students Become Finalists in Nationwide HUD 2017 Innovation in Affordable Housing Competition
A team of Taubman College Architecture and Urban Planning students has been selected as one of the four Finalist Teams in the nationwide HUD (United States Department of Housing and Urban Development) 2017 Innovation in Affordable Housing Student Design and Planning Competition.
The team includes: Bader Bajaber (MUP), Emily Burrowes (MUP), Laura Devine (M.ARCH), Melissa Lubbers (MUP and MSW), Prashanth Raju (MUP and MUD), with faculty advisor; Associate Professor of Urban and Regional Planning Lan Deng.
The team will move on to the second phase of competition and the final judging and award ceremony will take place in Washington, D.C. in April, 2017. This is the second time that Taubman college has made it to the finalists since the competition started in 2014.
