Mankouche Leads Workshop at Carnegie Museum of Art

Associate Professor Steven Mankouche was invited to the Carnegie Museum of Art to give a presentation and lead a workshop. The CMoA event Workshop: Texture and Plaster took place on Sunday, March 18th. Graduate students in Arch 562 Propositions Studio: Order and Ornament, taught by Professor Mankouche, participated in the workshop and presented the outcomes.

The Taubman students are participating in a cross-institutional architecture studio with Carnegie-Mellon students; the studios taught by Mankouch and Carnegie Mellon Professor Josh Bard are revisiting the use of plaster through contemporary technology. This studio builds on ACHOLAB’s former Research Through Making project “Morphfaux.”
