Assistant Professors Cyrus Peñarroyo (EXTENTS), Thom Moran, Ellie Abrons, Adam Fure, and Meredith Miller (T+E+A+M) were invited to display their design proposals for the Ragdale Ring Competition in “Rings,” an exhibition at The Center for Architecture and Design, 50 W. Town St., Columbus, OH.
T+E+A+M’s “Living Picture” won the competition in 2017, and Peñarroyo’s “Reflections on the Lawn” was a finalist in 2018. The exhibition brings together seven recent entries to the competition by young speculative architecture practices from the Midwest. The designers were chosen for their varied and different approaches to the design problem, while highlighting the Midwest’s prominent representation in the competition and showcasing young practices in the region.
The exhibition runs from August 15–September 30 with a reception and gallery talk on September 13 at 6:30 p.m.
