Soundscape

“Soundscape” reimagines the North Campus Diag by deploying a data-driven material assembly. We experimented with robotic clay extrusion, focusing on augmenting the soundscapes produced by the Lurie Bell Tower within the extent of our form. Our project’s design considered existing site relationships, such as the movement of people across the North Campus Grove, noise pollution, and atmospheric qualities, such as sound, wind, and light.
