I love having lunch and talking with faculty and professional staff; it’s great to know students’ voices can be heard. Plus, shared experiences are always interesting and helpful.
How has Taubman’s career and professional development support prepared you for a successful career in your chosen field?
As an international student, Taubman’s career and professional development support really helps a lot! They have introduced me to the career environment, how to connect, and how to tailor my resume. The Career Trek also gives us a chance to get in touch with architects and firms.
What do you like most about being part of the Ann Arbor community?
The peacefulness and freedom.
What advice would you give prospective students as they consider Taubman College?
Come with an open mind and be ready for both challenges and growth. Taubman offers incredible resources, supportive faculty, and a collaborative community; make full use of them. Strong time management and willingness to learn from peers will make your experience rewarding.
Additional advice or thoughts you’d like to share with prospective students?
Don’t just live in studio, explore Ann Arbor, meet people, and enjoy the community here. Taking breaks, finding balance, and building friendships will make your Taubman experience even more rewarding.
