Why did you choose Taubman College?
The ability to get a dual degree, a larger college atmosphere, various design courses, and studio camaraderie.
Describe the work that you do.
I help lead the urban design and planning studio at Lake Flato. We work on projects all over the U.S. with private developers and public institutions.
What are some of the projects that you have worked on recently?
Various 20-40 acre mixed-use urban infill districts across the U.S. with historic buildings in Portland, San Antonio, and Lafayette.
How did Taubman College prepare you for your career?
Allowed multiple opportunities to study various design topics and interests, and provided a way to gain two masters in Architecture and Urban Design which I use today.
What is an important lesson that has stayed with you from your time at Taubman College?
To test out multiple design interests to help me figure out which one I felt most passionate about.
