We are excited to meet you! We offer virtual and in-person ways to connect with us to learn more about Taubman College degrees.

Learn more about Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning by exploring these upcoming virtual and in-person visit and event options. Click on a degree program below to learn more. 

VIRTUAL

Information Sessions and Meet & Greet sessions include a brief overview of the degree and a time for Q&A with a Taubman College admissions representative. These small group sessions last 30-45 minutes and are offered via Zoom.

IN-PERSON

Information Session with Building Tours include a brief overview of the degree, time for Q&A with a Taubman College admissions representative and a walking tour of the Art & Architecture Building. These small group sessions last 60-75 minutes and take place in person.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Throughout the fall semester, Taubman College Admissions will host special events like open houses and workshops. These special events will be listed by degree below. Explore the Taubman College Events Calendar, which includes events for prospective students.

Faculty members will provide tips on portfolio design, organization, and presentation. Architecture faculty will share tips and techniques for assembling the best possible portfolio for your admission application.

Virtual Transfer Student Architecture Workshop
A day in the life of an architecture undergrad at the University of Michigan.

The Prospective Transfer Student Architecture Workshop is designed to engage undergraduate students who are interested in architecture and the creative arts, but have yet to declare architecture as their major. The event will include conversations with current students and alumni, a faculty talk and meetings with admissions counselors, as well as direction on how to create or improve your portfolio. U-M accepts transfer students into the undergraduate architecture program in their junior year. This event is free to qualified applicants.
