This seminar will operate like an experimental design-oriented think tank, using topical foci and soft rule sets towards imaginative spatial visualizations, linked to hybrid spatial and material formations. While the ethics of hybrid practices are rightly debatable, emerging technologies, the ability to mix geographies and different time frames, and the possibility to ‘breed’ characteristics from two, or more, distinct sources, offers openings for formal, material, and representational expansion. Essential for cultural agents, or architects who need to be multiple architects. The seminar will work toward developing versatile and dexterous designers. Augmenting typological thinking, producing innovative work, and constructing architectural knowledge will course through our veins
