Taught in conjunction with ARCH 562, this course focuses on the principles, performances, and integration of building systems, including, but not limited to, structural, environmental, building envelope, lighting, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, communication, and horizontal and vertical conveyance systems, with a focus on life safety issues, accessibility, security, fire protection systems, and building codes.
