A seminar whose aim is to integrate the varied work students have done in the Real Estate Development Certificate and to fill holes in students backgrounds as they complete the certificate. The course engages with the Hines Student Urban Design Competition and then addresses selected topics that vary from year to year such as barriers to good real estate development projects, complex real estate financial deals, changes in capital markets that affect the nature of financing, and real estate project management. Students take the seminar late in their studies for the certificate.
Course is approved for Real Estate Minor and Graduate Certificate.
