This course is designed for students pursuing the Graduate Certificate for Real Estate
Development* and students generally interested in the fields of real estate and development.
This course has a focus on cutting edge, major trends in the real estate industry, across a
variety of building types and asset classes. The core text for the course will be “Emerging
Trends in Real Estate 2022″, published by the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and pwc. The 2022
edition is the 43rd edition of the report. Two of the trends to explore include: “Work Anywhere:
An Office Reset” and “Housing Crisis Redux.”
*This course counts towards the ‘Real Estate Finance and Investment’ requirement.
