This course recognizes that in urban technology, design concepts must be tested to be able to evaluate whether they are fit for purpose, desired by users, and viable long term. This course will be a workshop of experimentation where students learn how to prototype and assess the workings of hardware and software design concepts with real users, including in the public realm.

**Please note that this course is an adaptation and expansion of UT 402: Reading/Writing the World. If you previously took Reading/Writing, you will encounter similar concepts and projects in this iteration.
