Join us in the AAEL Materials Collection space for an informal presentation and discussion of wood. Peter von Buelow, professor of architecture, will talk briefly about structural applications of engineered and hybrid wood. His presentation will be followed by Q&A and discussion. This is the first presentation in the revival of Material Conversations, a brownbag series focused on materials research at UM. Snacks will be provided.
