Jacob Comerci

Jacob Comerci is a designer and educator focused on pedagogical experimentation and the feedback loop between design, implementation, and evaluation. He is a Lecturer in Architecture and Managing Director of Academic Initiatives at Taubman College. There, he played an integral role in designing and implementing the college’s Visualization Lab (TVLab), Studio Reassembled, U-M Public Design Corps, and Michigan Design Sessions, a portfolio of pre-college and non-degree programs that he directs to expand access to design education for high school students, college students, and adults.

Comerci was the 2019–2020 William Muschenheim Design Fellow at the University of Michigan. He received a Master of Architecture from Princeton University and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Illinois Chicago, and previously worked with Bureau Spectacular, MOS Architects, and LTL Architects.
