Urban planning faculty member Lan Deng appointed to International Association of China Planning board
Assistant Professor of Urban and Regional Planning Lan Deng was appointed to the position of treasurer for the International Association for China Planning (IACP). The IACP is an independent non-profit organization of scholars, students, and practitioners interested in planning issues in China. IACP members also come from diverse academic and professional backgrounds, such as urban planning, architecture, geography, economics, public policy, environmental management, and real estate development. Their mission is to serve as a bridge between urban planning researchers and practitioners in China and their counterparts in other countries, to provide a forum for scholarly and professional dialogues, and to form a lively and supportive community for its members.
