Professor June Manning Thomas Awarded the Laurence Gerckens Prize

Professor June Manning Thomas, Centennial Professor of Urban and Regional Planning and the Mary Frances Berry Distinguished University Professor, is this year’s winner of the Laurence Gerckens Prize, awarded by The Society for American City and Regional Planning History (SACRPH) to “a scholar-teacher who has demonstrated sustained teaching excellence and educational leadership in the field of planning history.” She will accept the award at SACRPH’s 17th National Conference On Planning History in Cleveland this October.
