The project’s goal is to revive the food culture of Wadi Fukin, a Palestinian village facing agricultural challenges due to a shortage of farmers and clean water. Taking inspiration from the village’s cooperative water management system and communal traditions, the project proposes a network of purification structures strategically located at existing irrigation pools. This design seamlessly integrates water purification processes with food-related activities, emphasizing sustainability and local craftsmanship. By combining architecture and water management, the project aims to strengthen community resilience, preserve cultural heritage, and revitalize the local food industry.
