This Urban Technology studio teaches students to develop strategies for change by creating proposals that are situated in a specific place, addressing a system in meaningful ways, and seeking positive impacts such as sustainability, justice, and humanity. In this project, students recognized urban landscapes as complex, living systems that require continuous maintenance and thoughtful management. Their dynamic nature, competing interactions with the surrounding systems, and volatile climate effects makes this a persistent challenge.
