Why did you choose Taubman College as the right program for you?
It was important for me to stay close to home while still getting a fully immersive experience, and I get to have that here. I also really appreciated the course freedom from year one.
What is special or excites you about the Taubman community?
No one in the Taubman community is just a number. You are given the space to get to know nearly everyone, and you get to play the role of student and critic.
Describe your experience with faculty and professional staff during your time at Taubman?
It didn’t take long for me to reach out to faculty and staff. I quickly took advantage of the career network where I work with a joyful and creative team.
What do you like most about being part of the Ann Arbor community?
There is something for everyone. I knew I wanted to find a religious community when I arrived here. I didn’t just find one–I was also able to pick from several and decide which one I could be most accountable to (considering factors such as class rigor, weather conditions, location, etc).
What advice would you give prospective students as they consider Taubman College?
Courses having a “reputation” should never stop you, but you also don’t need to have the most daunting-sounding schedule.
What are your plans after graduation?
I still have a long time to consider my plans after graduation, but I will most likely stay in Michigan.
