Why did you choose Taubman College as the right program for you?
I love the diversity of courses offered here! The wide range of subjects available allows me to explore various areas of interest within urban planning and gain a rich understanding of the field. This variety not only enriches my learning experience but also equips me with a broad perspective, which is essential for addressing complex urban challenges. From the history of urban forms to urban informatics, I have had the opportunity to explore a multitude of topics.

What is special or excites you about the Taubman community?
The people! Everyone here is so caring and wonderful. The professors are not only passionate about their work but are also deeply committed to helping their students grow. My classmates come from diverse backgrounds, providing a wealth of perspectives and experiences from which I can learn from.

Describe your experience with faculty and professional staff during your time at Taubman?
The faculty and staff here at Taubman are very approachable. I would sometimes have lunch with professors, and there was even once when we had an informal karaoke session with classmates and staff!

What do you like most about being part of the Ann Arbor community?
Ann Arbor is a very friendly town. Everything is within walking distance, and there is always something for everyone.

What advice would you give prospective students as they consider Taubman College?
Dare to explore! Embrace the opportunities for learning and discovery that this program offers. Be open to new ideas and engage with diverse perspectives. This is a place where you can truly expand your horizons and grow both academically and personally.
