Eunsoo Hyun
Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Planning
Eunsoo is a doctoral student in urban and regional planning at the University of Michigan. His research focuses on climate adaptation in rapidly urbanizing contexts of Southeast Asia. He is interested in the intersection of urban form, urban politics, climate/disaster resilience, and spatial justice.
Prior to doctoral studies, he worked in project management, architectural design, and international development at Iroje Architects and Planners at Seoul, Korea and UN-Habitat Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific at Vientiane, Lao PDR.
He holds a Master of Architecture in Urban Design with distinction from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and Bachelor of Architecture from Seoul National University.
