If applicable, tell us about studio culture – what is inspiring or innovative or unique?
It is unique to have such a small group of peers interacting so frequently. It’s really motivating to be surrounded by people going through the same thing as you. Studio culture is what you make of it l, and I’m grateful that my studios have allowed the growth of so many strong friendships.
Describe your experience with faculty and professional staff during your time at Taubman?
It is a unique experience to have a professor interact with you on a personal level almost every day. I have multiple teachers that function not just as instructors, but as mentors in the most intimate sense. I’m surprised to have bonded so quickly and closely with the faculty at Taubman, but it is easy when so many people are passionate about what they do.
How has Taubman’s career and professional development support prepared you for a successful career in your chosen field?
They provide any resource you might need, and there is always a person to ask for help. The College Career Network is very helpful as well.

For students considering Taubman, I’d advise you to consider what type of student you are and what type of student you want to be. This program allows you quite a lot of control over your education, and it’s up to you as a student to use that opportunity as best as you can. The type of education that you want and push for is the type of education you’ll get.
