I chose Taubman because of the faculty and the school’s support of research.

The community and network you build. I enjoy getting to know the projects that my peers are working on, and I feel so honored that they share their projects with me.

Describe your experience with faculty and professional staff during your time at Taubman?
The professors genuinely want to help you and are available to answer any questions. Also, I appreciate that they talk about their past work experiences.

How has Taubman’s career and professional development support prepared you for a successful career in your chosen field?
They are so helpful in giving feedback. I appreciate them looking over my resumes and cover letters. Their suggestions definitely improve my documents.

What advice would you give prospective students as they consider Taubman College?
Do not be intimidated and kick imposter syndrome to the curve. I was genuinely scared of the professors and students because they seemed so driven, but we are all just figuring out what we like to study.

What are your plans after graduation?
Ideally, work in DC on infrastructure projects and policy.

Additional advice or thoughts you’d like to share with prospective students?
Reach out! The community and network are so nice and helpful.
