Support for Engaged and Experiential Learning
Education doesn’t happen only inside the classroom and studio. By engaging a broader world of practitioners and stakeholders, our students develop an expansive worldview shaped by diverse perspectives and people pursuing real projects.
At Taubman College, experiential learning transforms classroom concepts into real-world impact through hands-on projects, community engagement, and immersive research. These opportunities, ranging from service learning and internships to design-build initiatives and global travel, help students develop professional skills and apply theory to practice alongside community partners.
Signature programs like the U-M Public Design Corps, the Architecture Student Research Grant, the Wallenberg Studio, and the graduate urban and regional planning capstone projects empower students to tackle pressing challenges and prepare for their careers. Your support helps future architects, planners, and designers forge meaningful change in communities worldwide. Please join us in advancing experiential learning at Taubman College.
“Thank you for the incredibly generous scholarship that allowed me to travel to Rwanda. The opportunity was instrumental in developing my passions and future trajectory in the field of architecture and design.”
