Practice-Space to host grand opening in conjunction with Detroit Design Festival 2013
Located in North Corktown and housed in a former auto garage, Practice-Space functions as a collaborative workspace and residency program, operating at the intersection of architecture, business, and storytelling.
The Practice-Space team consists of several University of Michigan alumni most notably Justin Mast (M.Arch.’12), Program Director, and Kyle Hoff (M.Arch.’12), Designer and Project Manager, who are graduates of Taubman College. Christian Unverzagt, Assistant Professor of Practice in Architecture and Virginia Stanard (M.Arch.’05, M.U.D.’05) serve as advisors to the practice.
The grand opening will take place on Saturday, September 21 from 4:00-11:00pm at 2801 14th Street in Detroit. The evening will include live music from local DJs and a food truck.
