Guerrilla Cinema

Abraham Alzoubi
Christian Unverzagt
Noam Chomsky wrote “Mass media are powerful ideological institutions that carry out a system-supportive propaganda function.” ‘Guerrilla Cinema’ acts as a counterforce, which envisions the future of cinema as a mobile entity. It will utilize a scaffold structure that can exist anywhere, providing assembly instructions for users. Guerrilla cinema serves as a tool for political mobilization and conscious raising. Films with radical political content will be screened which will present new and untold narratives overlooked by mainstream platforms. Screenings will be free of charge and will consist of active viewership such as discussions, protests, performances, food, and more.
