As the Icelandic Embassy in the United States is located in the House of Sweden, which belongs to the Swedish government, my proposal is to separate the Icelandic Embassy from the House of Sweden while maintaining a tight relationship between the two countries. The two embassy buildings represent their respective countries through their specific architectural features (e.g., materials), yet they are intertwined and share some common spaces, such as parking lots, open terraces, and event halls.
