Why did you choose Taubman College as the right program for you?
I chose Taubman because of its variety of class offerings, focus on sustainability and climate adaptations, diverse faculty, flexibility to study interests rather than prescribed concentration pathways, and extracurriculars within the college and the University of Michigan.

What is special or excites you about the Taubman community?
The community within Taubman. Everyone comes from unique experiences and has individual areas of interest that contribute to the conversation and add a different perspective to the learning environment.

Describe your experience with faculty and professional staff during your time at Taubman?
The faculty is responsive to questions, supportive, and helpful.

How has Taubman’s career and professional development support prepared you for a successful career in your chosen field?
Lou and Shane are wonderful. They are supportive and offer great feedback on resumes. They are always looking for opportunities for students or connecting students with alumni and professional organizations.

What benefits have you experienced being part of the University of Michigan?
There is always something going on—guest speakers, readings, art shows/exhibits, lectures, sporting events, demonstrations, outdoor adventures, fun runs/ races, lectures, etc. There are many opportunities for a well-rounded academic experience at U of M.

What do you like most about being part of the Ann Arbor community?
There are a number of opportunities and a variety of interests in Ann Arbor. Many academic and art events happen around town and on campus regularly, so there are lots of ways to get involved. There are many opportunities for outdoor adventures, too.
