Karl Daubmann to deliver Architecture Keynote on building practice at HATCH, a creative innovators conference

Architecture Professor Karl Daubmann will provide an architecture keynote at the Hatch Festival in Ashville, N.C., on April 16, 2010, on “Building Practice.” Daubmann, principal of PLY Architecture, will discuss how practice is a form of research. He will explore how PLY’s practice has evolved, and the role of construction and fabrication as means to explore the architect’s role.

The festival takes place from April 15-18, 2010.

The mission of HATCH is to provide mentorship, education, inspiration and recognition to the next generation of creative innovators. We focus on the creative industries and how to best leverage our creative professions to impact the community and the planet in a positive and sustainable way.
