Ago Participates in One-Night Stand LA
Viola Ago, 2016-2017 William Muschenheim Fellow and lecturer in architecture, exhibited her project “The Mark” at the 2017 One-Night Stand LA. A One-Night Stand for Art & Architecture (One-Night Stand LA) is a non-profit event and publication project by a group of emerging architects and artists exploring different forms of media, but also new possibilities for strategies of subversion. The Los Angeles based event took place on May 20, 2017, and was initiated as a means for fostering the emerging creative eruptions in the disciplines of art and architecture. The group uses motel rooms at the Royal Viking Motel, Los Angeles, for one night, and one night only to exhibit work. This year’s event, “Last Call,” was curated by Jennifer Bonner, Volkan Alkanoglu, and Kyle Miller.
