Lecturer Craig Wilkins, along with three fellow past winners of the Cooper Hewitt National Design Award, will speak Thursday, April 11 as part of a celebration of the National Design Awards in Detroit. Wilkins, who won the Cooper Hewitt National Design Award in 2017 will join David Malda (Gustafson Guthrie Nichol), Chris Reed (Stoss Landscape Urbanism), and Richard Roark (OLIN). For a discussion of how design has shaped Detroit. Cara McCarty, director of curatorial at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, also will participate.
