Climate Futures

Climate Futures amplifies architectural, design and planning contributions to mutual flourishing in the built environment.

Our academic community is actively growing knowledge in the realms of resilience, circularity, imagination, and justice in education and in communities across the world. We serve to promote this work at Taubman College of Architecture & Urban Planning and facilitate its connectivity within the University of Michigan and beyond.

Utilize the Collaborative Space

The Climate Futures Collaborative Space is located in Room 3103, open to the east stairwell and adjacent to Eastside Gallery and Studio Reassembled. Taubman College students and faculty can reserve the space via Google Calendar for climate-related discussions, meetings, and collaborative or course projects.

Faculty teaching courses can reserve the space for use for up to 15 people. Students are encouraged to self-organize groups of up to 15 people around sustainability topics—either within existing courses or independently—and explore ways to integrate and implement their ideas. You can also work with faculty to determine if an open office session at the Climate Futures Collaborative Space could support your class or project.
