Urban Technology studio (UT330) focuses on interaction design related to a core urban service such as mobility, collective decision-making, resource sharing, or resource utilization. Students work through the full design process from discovery to definition, development, and validation. After conducting qualitative research to identify user needs, students develop wireframes, mockups, and other prototypes to test with real-world users. Side-By-Side is a data visualization tool that facilitates a user’s decision-making process for dining out in urban spaces.
