The behemoth inflatable installation HOT AIR by Taubman College Assistant Professor of Architecture Anca Trandafirescu was featured Oct. 26, 2009 on the website Design Boom.

The monument, constructed in honor of the twentieth anniversary of the overthrow of the Romanian government, which will be on display during the American Romanian Music Festival in Ann Arbor from Nov. 3-7. HOT AIR, in the shape of a giant head, is constructed of heat sealed polyethylene plastic sheeting, anchored, and inflated with a small fan.
