Lecturer Adam Fure speaks at UK/CoK about translations of computation in speculative architectural production

Architecture Lecturer Adam Fure presented his recent work in a lecture at University of Kentucky College of Design (UK/CoK) on February 3, 2012. Fure also led a workshop for students as guest instructor for the seminar ARC 599 Translations, led by Assistant Professor Kyle Miller. The seminar investigated the most recent translations of computation into speculative domains of architectural production. Students looked to expand the possible material outcomes of CNC fabrication by linking up digital protocols (scripting, variable fields, self-similar patterning) with exotic and unwieldy materials.
