Four Faculty Projects Awarded “Research Through Planning” Grants
As a result of the continued generosity of Alan and Cynthia Berkshire, Taubman College was able to continue the Research Through Planning grant program in its second year. The proposals were reviewed internally by the college leadership, and four winners were announced by interim dean Robert Fishman on May 5, 2017:
- Dam(n)ed: Mechanizing a Sacred River Landscape [Narmada River, India]
Maria Arquero, Dhara Mittal, Nishant Mittal - Prioritization of Stormwater Interventions by Subwatershed in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Larissa Larsen - Scenario Planning
Kathy Velikov and Christopher Ratte (Classical Studies, History of Art) - What Can Food Do for the City?
Lesli Hoey
The projects will be presented to the public in the spring of 2018.
