Christian Unverzagt, an associate professor in architecture, recently received several awards through his Detroit-based firm, M1DTW. Unverzagt is the firm’s founder and design director. Each of the teams for the award-winning projects were led by Unverzagt and composed entirely of Taubman College alumni.

The firm received an AIA Michigan Honor Award for the headquarters of Floyd Inc., a 3,200-square-foot office and retail space renovation within an existing warehouse building in Detroit’s Eastern Market. Floyd Inc. is an online furniture company co-founded by Kyle Hoff, M.Arch ’12. Learn more about the project.
