This house serves four young women as they balance their need for community alongside their growing independence. The house functions on a series of “shoots” that run alley to street on the main level and turn perpendicular on the upper levels. These shoots interact through resultant voids and floor level discrepancies to provide options for joint living or moments of privacy. Even in the moment of privacy, though, you feel or see the presence of your other roommates. STUDENT Hazel Wolf FACULTY Melissa Harris
