Assistant Professor U. Sean Vance spoke about universal design at European conference “Towards a Humane City” 

Traveling October 25-27, 2011, on behalf of the United States Embassy Speaker Program, Assistant Professor of Architecture U. Sean Vance presented his research at “Towards a Humane City,” the 3^rd international conference of the Department for Traffic Engineering at the University of Novi Sad in Serbia. Vance presented research about how architects and industrial designers provided an understanding of usability that engages emerging accessibility issues and discussed how universal design addresses these issues present in Belgrade and Novi Sad. Vance also presented to architecture faculty in Belgrade and to a gathering of architects, engineers, and disabled community representatives in Novi Sad.
