Associate Professor Karl Daubmann – From Disney to Sunset Magazine 

In addition to teaching Architecture at Taubman College, Karl Daubmann is Vice President of Design and Creative Director for Blu Homes. The company received some recent publicity for two high-profile homes which opened:

• The first is a prefab home in Southern California (Joshua Tree) designed for Tim Disney, great-nephew of Walt Disney.
• The second is a new Sunset Magazine Breezehouse which offers the benefits of an architect-designed custom home with the efficiency of prefab construction.
