Gräbner and Hansen Win First Prize for the Anhui University of Technology Campus

Principals of VolumeOne Design Studio in Detroit — Assistant Professor of Practice, Lars Gräbner and Lecturer Christina Hansen — received first prize in the urban and architectural design competition for the Anhui University of Technology New Campus in the city of Ma’anshan, Anhui Province, P.R. China. The design provides for research and classroom buildings, a library, activity and performance centers, sports facilities, dining halls and dormitories for 15,000 students, along with extensive landscape design. Phase one of the campus is scheduled to open in September 2016 for 5,000 students. 

VolumeOne collaborated with Anhui Goldenland Architectural Design Ltd, Hefei, Anhui Province as a local partner in the national competition.
