Three undergraduate and two graduate students were honored with the 2024 Willeke Prize, the oldest and most prestigious award for Taubman College student architecture work.
The annual award, named after the late architect Leonard B. Willeke, recognizes design excellence and innovation through a portfolio competition. The competition is judged by Taubman College alumni.
The student designers illustrated distinctive and impactful conceptual structures set around the world, from Ann Arbor to Amsterdam to Africa. The winning portfolios include a movie theater reimagined for children, a community fire station using rainwater collection, and a cancer treatment center that connects users to nature.
