Teaching Areas:

Ellie Abrons is a lecturer in architecture at the University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning. She has worked in Los Angeles at the offices of KoningEizenberg, servo, and GregLynnFORM and in Boston at Office dA. Her design work has been exhibited at the A+D Gallery in Los Angeles and the AA in London. Ellie taught in the graduate architecture program at the University of California Berkeley in 2006 and was awarded the A. Alfred Taubman Fellowship in Architecture at the University of Michigan in 2009, where she continues to teach. In 2011 she traveled to Stuttgart, Germany where she was awarded a residency fellowship at the Akademie Schloss Solitude. She received her M.Arch. from the University of California Los Angeles where she graduated with distinction and received the AIA Certificate of Merit. She received her B.A. in art history and gender studies from New York University and has a certificate in graphic and digital design from Parsons School of Design.
