Heidi Beebe is a founding partner of Beebe Skidmore Architects, based in Portland, Oregon and Detroit, Michigan with commercial and residential projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. Beebe Skidmore's Two Story Four Square in Boise, Idaho was the recipient of an Oregon AIA Merit Design Award in 2011. Heidi has an M.Arch from Princeton University and a BA from Williams College in English and East Asian Studies. In 2012, Heidi received a Research on the City Grant for Re: Tool-Kit for Detroit, was a selected participant in the 72 Hour Urban Action Competition in Stuttgart, presented at the bi-annual Oregon Design Conference, and was awarded a residency at the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology. Heidi has previously taught at the University of Oregon, Portland State University, Lawrence Technical University and the Boston Architectural Center. She has worked at Allied Works Architecture, Machado and Silvetti Associates, and Thompson and Rose Architects. Heidi currently serves on the Multnomah County Library Advisory Board and the Pittock Mansion Society Board of Directors, a non-profit historic house museum located on Portland Parks and Recreation grounds.
